SLP Technical Assistance
The New York State Council on the Arts has made available a limited pot of funds for professional services targeted to specific organizational challenges and opportunities, with the potential to significantly advance the mission of 2020 NYSCA State & Local Partnership (SLP) constituent organizations. Two discrete pots of funds are available from the Technical Assistance Fund. One is a subsidy for DEC Sites to support the first year of an upgrade to online grants management systems to administer Decentralization. Two is the Technical Assistance Grant for all State & Local Partnership Organizations supported by NYSCA in 2020. This fund is not yet open.
Online Grants Management System Conversion Subsidy
The NYSCA State and Local Partnerships (SLP) Division has made available a discrete pot of funds through the Technical Assistance Program to its constituent Decentralization (DEC) Sites statewide. Up to $1,000 is available per DEC site to subsidize the first year of fees to upgrade their offline grants management system to an online platform such as Submittable.
Deadline: Monday, March 30, 2020 by 11:59 PM
Who May Apply: FY2021 Approved NYSCA Decentralization Site Organizations ONLY
Award Amount: Up to $1,000 per DEC Site
Project Period: For immediate implementation for the 2021 DEC Cycle

HOW TO APPLY

Requests for technical assistance may include the following, but are not limited to:
- System Development: consultant fees for developing or upgrading websites; on-line forms; social media presence; financial management systems; grants management systems; fundraising management systems; audience database or ticketing systems; etc.
- Strategic Initiatives: consultant fees related to community cultural planning, or specific initiatives in audience development; fundraising; marketing; public relations; board development; etc.
