Rome Community Theater
In 1953, the Rome Community Theater was chartered as a non-profit educational institutional dedicated to providing entertainment and education to the greater Rome area.
A partial listing of past productions includes:
Sound of Music, Deathtrap, Nunsense, Oliver, Man Who Came To Dinner, Carousel, Fiddler On The Roof, On Golden Pond, Rumors, Mousetrap, Lost in Yonkers, Arsenic and Old Lace, Over the River and Through the Woods, Noises Off, Brighton Beach Memoirs, Clue The Musical, and A Wonderful Life.
As an educational institution, we have provided mentoring, service and talent to other non-profit organizations on a regular basis. Traditionally, in the Summer, we stage a children’s theater production and an evening of one-act plays showcasing new writers and directors.
Rome Community Theater is located at 8911 Turin Rd (Rte 26 North) at the edge of the City of Rome.
