Museum of Science & Technology (MOST)
The Milton J. Rubenstein Museum of Science & Technology (MOST) inspires all with 35,000 square feet of exhibits, educational programming, planetarium shows and the only domed IMAX theater in New York State. Explore the history and science of flight and space exploration, discover viable renewable energy sources, get creative in the build and maker spaces, dig for fossils, and experience the many wonders of science with over 20 exhibits - science comes alive!
For parents with babies and young children, the MOST has a designated area, The Family Place, to tend to all parental needs. Amenities include rocking chairs, bottle warmer, changing table, and a toddler table with books.
The Museum offers free exhibit admission for all military members with valid identification, personal care attendants accompanying a MOST visitor, and current New York State teachers with valid identification. Annually, the MOST organizes and hosts many community outreach science events, and the Museum’s Education department provides an array of notable public science education programming.
The MOST is regularly open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday with extended hours until 8 p.m on the second Thursday of every month; from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., the Museum features a different theme in a sensory friendly environment. Exclusive sensory friendly space and activities are available along with sensory friendly kits.
