Syracuse Arts and Crafts Festival
One of the premier events of ArtsWeek, the 46th Annual AmeriCU Syracuse Arts and Crafts Festival, is coming up shortly. More than 160 artists and entertainers from 25 US States and Canada will be showcasing their talents in Columbus Circle during this highly-anticipated event on July 29, 30 and 31. From 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Friday, July 29 and from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday, July 30 and Sunday, July 31, festival goers will discover modern arts and crafts, including ceramics, computer art, painting, fabric and fiber, sculpture, photography, glass, jewelry and more.
“The variety and diversity of cultural talent showcased at the AmeriCU Syracuse Arts & Crafts Festival makes it one of the most-anticipated family events of the summer, not only in our community, but across our entire region,” said Angie Blair, the acting marketing director at AmeriCU. “AmeriCU is honored to support an event that strengthens our community culturally and economically, and complements our goals as an organization.”
To see some of this year’s artists and their work, follow the Downtown Committee on Pinterest. They created a special “AmeriCU Arts & Crafts Festival” board, which shows a sampling of some of the artwork and crafts that will be showcased at the festival. This event is made possible, in part, by a grant through New York State Senator John A. DeFrancisco and a Tier Three Project Support Grant through Onondaga County, and is administered by CNY Arts.
