There will be a meet and greet audition event taking place for the Theater Du Jour & Oswego Tea Company production of “Murder at Cafe Noir” by David Landau. This event serves the dual purpose of allowing actors, directors and restaurant owners to get to know the Theater Du Jour and by allowing community members to audition for the latest production.
The show follows a detective looking for a runaway killer and the audience votes twice on what decision they want him to make next. The cast will include four males and three females (ages 18 & up).

Three legendary local bands will be playing at this years Support the Stanley Concert. Performances include: The Todd Hobin Band, The Justice McBride Band, and the Dust Devil Band. This won’t be the first time that these three bands have rocked together. In 1981 they all played to in a similar concert to keep the Stanley Theater open. All proceeds from the event will go towards helping the operations of the theater.
This event is an art competition for high school students that is sponsored by Congressman Richard Hanna. It is administered locally for Oneida County Students who submit pieces of personal artwork into the competition. All of the artwork will be displayed at the Stanley Theater and there will be a reception on March 27th.

The Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts has partnered with the Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties to keep Valley Cinemas open. Digital projection equipment that will be helpful with events such as film screenings, lectures festivals and more will be installed. Valley Cinemas is a historical part of Mohawk Valley and this grant benefits the theater, the downtown economy, and allows for the continuation of valuable art and cultural opportunities throughout the region.
Dress to impress and put on a mask for the Masquerade Ball. This event is hosted by the The Syracuse City Ballet. The theme for the evening is ‘Black and White’ and the night will be full of dancing, food, a cash bar and silent auction. All proceeds will go to the Syracuse City Ballet’s production of “Swan Lake” that will be taking place this May.
