Heath Brothers & Lincoln Tea

This Halloween there will be 2 performances by the Heath Brothers musical quartet. The event will be full of music and treats. There will be free Heath Bars and cake given out to everyone attending after both shows. Dr. Jimmy Heath, saxophonist and big band leader, will be celebrating his 88th birthday at each performance. The concert is taking place as part of the Arts Across Campus Legends of Jazz series.

Where: Storer Auditorium on the Onondaga Community College campus, 4585 West Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse, NY 13215.
When: Halloween! 2 Performances- 4:30 pm and 7pm, Friday October 31st

There will be costumes, food, trivia and lots of fun taking place at the Tully Train Station during this event, sponsored by the Syracuse Chorale. Chorale members will be dressed in 19th century period costume. Formal dress is requested, but attendees are encouraged wear period dress.
The event will include a concert by Chorale Members portraying the Hutchinson Family Singers. This family was popular during the mid 1900’s and promoted abolitionism, temperance, and worker’s rights. The trivia will be about Lincoln and include prizes!
Attendance will help support the April 19th concert hosted by the Syracuse Chorale that will commemorate 150th anniversary of the death of Abraham Lincoln.
