CNY Arts & Taste of Syracuse Poster Contest
DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES IS APRIL 8, 2015
The Taste of Syracuse and CNY Arts is holding the second annual poster design contest and this is the official call for entries. The selected poster will be featured in a variety of communication material and online advertisements. The winning artwork will be incorporated into some of the 2015 Taste of Syracuse marketing materials, showcasing the winner’s talent across the CNY region and at the Taste of Syracuse event that takes place on June 5 and 6.
The Taste of Syracuse is CNY’s premier summer festival. This is a great opportunity for students to develop a strong understanding of the bond of art within the community and how it can affect the outcome of an event. This project can be used as both a teaching tool and an opportunity for students to further develop their portfolios as they prepare for a curriculum in art and/or design.
The initial round of judging will be conducted by Taste of Syracuse and CNY Arts. The initial round of judging will pick the top ten designs for a public vote. The final winner will be chosen by the community based upon votes on Syracuse.com. All top ten finalist will be featured on Syracuse.com.
