7 venues, 5 days of film!
Syracuse International Film Festival begins this week on Wednesday, October 14 until October 18.
This year films will be shown at locations throughout Syracuse and Manlius including: The Palace Theater, Everson Museum, Jewish Community Center, The M.O.S.T., Le Moyne College, Genesee Grande Hotel Theater and the Manlius Art Cinema.
A stellar program includes international (Argentina, Canada, China, France, Iran, Italy, Japan, and Lebanon) and domestic films. Foreign filmmakers and actors will be with us from Argentina, Canada, China, and Israel. A number of these filmmakers from around the world and the United States will talk about their films, the art of filmmaking, acting and talk with you. There will also be receptions and our annual Filmmakers Forum at the new Film Hub.
For five days experience a festival like no other. From a family friendly Disney/PIXAR program to films examining serious social themes and issues the festival offers something for everyone.
