Friends of the Central Library (FOCL) raises funds to support the Central Library, the hub of the Onondaga Public Library System which includes branches and suburban libraries. FOCL produces and promotes the Rosamond Gifford Lecture Series, which has brought over 120 world-famous authors to Syracuse since 1995.

The Friends of the Central Library celebrates the 2016-2017 Rosamond Gifford Lecture Series, our 22nd season, with renowned authors Chris Bohjalian (March 28, 2017), Anthony Doerr (April 12, 2017), and Bryan Stevenson (May 2, 2017).
All events begin at 7:30 p.m. at The Oncenter Crouse Hinds Theater.
