Rome Community Theater Announcements
Rome Community Theater is holding auditions for the opening production of their 61st season, "Annie Warbucks."

Auditions for children will be Sunday August 17 at 2:00 PM.

Auditions for older teens and adults will be on Sunday August 17th and Monday August 18 at 7:30.

At this time, ALL roles are open and available for casting EXCEPT the part of Sandy.

The show will be accompanied by an orchestra and also needed will be backstage crew and others to help with set building, costumes, props, lights, sound, etc. Those interested in playing or working should attend one of the auditions times (or contactbjseaton@usa.net

Syracuse City Ballet Announcments

Syracuse City Ballet invites area dancers to audition for positions in the Corps de Ballet for its 2014-15 season on Wednesday, August 20 at 5:00pm at the studio of Ballet & Dance of Upstate New York at 126 South Terry Rd. in Syracuse.

Female dancers with strong ballet and pointe technique are encouraged to come. These auditions may lead to consideration for solo roles in Nutcracker in December, Swan Lake in May, or in smaller productions throughout the year. All interested in auditioning must email their full name and their dance background/experience to syracusecityballet@gmail.com. A $15 fee will be payable at the audition.

Museum of Technology Announcements
The deadline to drop off entries in the Build Your World toothpick-building contest is August 16. Entries must affixed to a cardboard platform and dropped off at the MOST, 500 S. Franklin St., Syracuse, accompanied by a title. For complete rules, visit our website at www.most.org. Grand prize is family membership, $50 gift certificate and a Toothpick World T-shirt. There is no cost to enter the contest.

The winner and runner-up in each of five categories in the Build Your World toothpick-building contest will be on display at the MOST so the public can vote on their choice for the grand prize winner. The winner receives a one-year family membership to the MOST, a $50 gift certificate to the Science Shop, and a Toothpick World T-shirt.
